Riverfest ask festival goers to maintain a smoke-free environment in our KidZone area.

Come join us in the awesome Arkansas Select Buick GMC KidZone area at Riverest 2012.  The  ”KidZone Playtime Promenade” is located along the banks of the Arkansas River near the Peabody Playground & Water Park in the central area of Riverfront Park. The kids will have a great time strolling along the Riverwalk Promenade which will feature lots of hands on activites, exciting games, creative crafts and more.

Visit the KidZone Craft area located in the Ozark Pavilion and enjoy the birthday theme crafts planned for this year.  Kids can make a birthday hat and create a custom picture frame for that special Riverfest memory, along with other fun birthday projects. You can also enjoy fun activities like Fanciful Face Painting and finger casts from Arkansas Children’s Hospital. And there’s more! Bean Bag Toss, Bubble Blowing, Chalk It Up Fun, and KidZone Hula Fun will provide hours of entertainment when you join us at Riverfest 2012.

The all-new Electric Cooperatives of Arkansas Family Zone will offer free entertainment for families!!  This new area of the festival will be located on the grounds of the Clinton Presidential Center and Heifer International.  In the Family Zone you will find tons of activities and entertainment including the Yarnell’s Family Stage, the Riverfest International Village, the Super Retriever Crown Championship Series (see the Special Attractions page for a schedule), the Weenie Dog Derby (Saturday afternoon at approximately 4:00 p.m.), the Soccer Collies, The Great Arkansas Talent Search, the Arkansas Arts Center ArtMobile, Arkansas Renewable Energy and much more.  Be sure to schedule a visit to this exciting new area of the festival while you are here!

 Don’t have 180 days to go around the world?  Then come to the International Village and visit six countries in minutes!   Begin your tour by picking up your passport at the Customs Office and then go to the International Village tent and make crafts pertaining to festivals from around the world.  You will make paper flowers from Mexico, Octoberfest hats from Germany, Carnival masks from Brazil, origami fans from Japan, Picasso portraits from Spain and flags from the USA.  When you have completed your trip, take your stamped passport back to Customs for a surprise.  While you are here, visit the Clinton Library and Heifer Village and play games on the beautiful lawn. Join us at the Riverfest 2012 International Village from 11:00 am – 7:00 pm on Saturday and 1:00 pm – 7:00 pm on Sunday. Enjoy Riverfest’s international experience!

The Acxiom International Village will be relocating to the Clinton Presidential Park/Heifer International in the Electric Cooperatives of Arkansas Family Zone! This area will also include the Yarnell’s Family Stage, the Super Receiver Series Crown Championships, and tons of exciting attractions that can be enjoyed by festival-goers free of charge!!
