WHAT ARE RIVERFEST 2011 HOURS?

Friday, May 25: 6:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. | Saturday, May 26: 11:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m. | Sunday, May 27: 1:00 p.m – 11:00 p.m.

HOW MUCH IS ADMISSION TO RIVERFEST 2012?
A limited supply of Riverfest 2012 3-day discounted tickets will be available at select Walgreen’s locations around the state. These tickets will be sold in April for $15 plus a $0.75 processing fee for each ticket purchased.  The ticket price will rise to $20 plus a $.75 processing fee beginning May 1st and running through May 27th (while supplies last) at Walgreen’s stores.  The 2012 admission price at the gates will be $30 for a 3-day pass.   Online tickets can be purchased for $25 beginning in late March, 2012.  Online sales are offered as a convenience, therefore the discounted price is not available for online sales.    Visit the TICKETS/MERCH page for more ticket information or to purchase tickets online.

The 2012 admission price includes all three days and all performances. Children 6 and under get in free with a paying adult!

AMPHITHEATRE ADMISSION:
Due to fire code and for public safety, Amphitheatre capacity is limited to 10,500 people. Admission is on a first-come first-served basis. Come early, stay late and have fun!

HOW DO I FIND MY WAY AROUND THE FESTIVAL SITE?
A map of the 2011 festival site is now available.   Click on the “Site Map” link located on the right side of the homepage to view the map. The 2012 map will be available in May, 2012. 

To travel between Little Rock and North Little Rock while visiting the festival you may walk or take the CATA Trolley across the Main Street Bridge, or walk across the Junction Bridge or the Clinton Presidential Center Bridge. Pedestrian traffic will not be allowed on the Main Street Bridge on Sunday.  The Main Street Bridge will close to all traffic at approximately 8:00 p.m. on Sunday and will not re-open after the fireworks. The Junction Bridge will remain open Sunday evening for the fireworks display, but the number of people allowed on the bridge will be monitored and limited. 

DOES RIVERFEST ACCEPT CASH, CREDIT CARDS AND CHECKS AT THE EVENT?
Admission may be purchased at the gate with cash only. Other purchases at the festival require RiverMoney. RiverMoney can be purchased with cash only at any Bancorp South RiverBank located throughout the festival site. RiverMoney is non-refundable and must be used for all Riverfest purchases except souvenir items, some artwork and River Market purchases.

WHAT ITEMS ARE PROHIBITED AT THE FESTIVAL?
Persons entering Riverfest and their bags are subject to search for the following, all of which are expressly forbidden on the event premises and subject to confiscation:

* Cameras with detachable lenses are not allowed at Riverfest. No photos of the artists or their work can be taken without prior approval and a sanctioned Riverfest Media Pass. Media passes are issued to working media only, and must be requested in advance through the Riverfest Media Committee. Audio and video recording equipment with an external microphone is not allowed at Riverfest.

Pets are not allowed on-site unless specially trained to assist the disabled. Thanks for your cooperation.

HOW DO I GET TO RIVERFEST?
Driving directions to Little Rock Julius Breckling Riverfront Park: From I-40, take I-30 South. As you cross the Arkansas River you will see the festival to the west in Julius Breckling Riverfront Park. Take the Cantrell Rd./Markham St. exit (#141A) and follow the signs for Cantrell/Markham (the 2nd and Ferry ramp will be closed to traffic). If you are traveling in on I-30 from the South, follow the same directions beginning with the 141A exit. Parking is available for a fee in the River Market Parking Garage or the parking garage at 2nd and Main. There are other paid lots in the vicinity. For MapQuest or other internet map service directions use 400 President Clinton Avenue, Little Rock, AR 72201 as your destination.

Driving directions to the North Shore Riverwalk, North Little Rock, AR: From 1-40, take I-30 South. Before you reach the Arkansas River you will take the Broadway St. Exit (#141B). If you are traveling in on I-30 from the South you will cross the Arkansas River and take the Broadway St. Exit (#141B). Travel west on Broadway to Willow St. Turn south on Willow. Parking is available for a fee in the vicinity. For MapQuest or other internet map service directions use 100 Main Street, NLR, AR 72114 as your destination.

IS THERE PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION?

Little Rock:
The Little Rock Riverfest shuttle will depart from the east side of War Memorial Stadium/AT&T Field  at Markham and Van Buren Streets in Little Rock and will drop off on La Harpe Avenue behind the Little Rock Chamber of Commerce Building. Riverfest return shuttles to War Memorial will pick up in Little Rock where they dropped off.

North Little Rock:
The North Little Rock Riverfest shuttle will pick up at the North Little Rock High School north parking lot in North Little Rock. From the north, you can enter the parking lot at Pershing and Orange. If entering from the south, turn left on 22nd street and then right on Victory Lane.  NEW THIS YEAR – The NLR shuttle drop will drop at 3rd and Kumpuris streets at the Clinton Presidential Center. Riverfest return shuttles to North Little Rock will pick up at 3rd & Kumpuris where they dropped off.
Shuttle hours:
Friday, May 25 - 5:30 p.m. through close of last event
Saturday, May 26 – 10:30 a.m. through close of last event
Sunday, May 27 - 12:30 p.m. through close of last event
Shuttles will operate for 30 to 45 minutes following the close of the last event, allowing time for riders to return to the pick-up points. Passengers will board the bus for their return trip at the same location they got off the bus.

Shuttle fare 2011: $3 Round Trip.  Your may ride for only $2 if you bring a non-perishable food item to donate to the Arkansas Food Bank Network.

IS THERE WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE PARKING IN THE AREA?
Parking spaces, located behind City Hall at 500 W. Markham Street and the parking lot at Clinton and River Market Avenue in Little Rock, or at the corner of Willow and Riverfront Dr. in North Little Rock are reserved for vehicles with valid wheelchair permits on a first come, first served basis. Wheelchair access is also available on most shuttles and curbside throughout downtown Little Rock and North Little Rock.

ARE THERE FIRST-AID STATIONS AT RIVERFEST?
Riverfest has two first-aid stations, sponsored by St. Vincent Health System. One is located near the Riverfest Amphitheatre in Little Rock. The other location is at the Clinton Presidential Park. Remember: Safety First!

IS SMOKING ALLOWED AT RIVERFEST?
The Clean Indoor Air Act (Act 8 of 2006) prohibits smoking in worksites and in public places to protect employees and the public form secondhand smoke. Arkansas is the seventeenth state in the nation to pass a smoke-free workplace act. In addition to this act, The City of Little Rock has established a No-Smoking Policy in all of it’s city parks. As a city park, Riverfront Park does fall under this “policy”.

We ask all festival-goers to be mindful of this city policy and that you be considerate of fellow festival-goers. We also ask that you dispose of all smoking-related garbage in the appropriate receptacles.
